Good way to get your site out there?

Is there any site that you can submit your site to for free and it will submit your site to a whole bunch of other search-engines and directories? Anyone know a really reliable service?

Nope. you have to go out and do it yourself. too many for one to cover i would think.

According to me manual submission is the only way to get quality backlinks, so prefer that only.

You do not have to submit your site to search engines. If you have some backlinks from other sites, the engines will find it. Google indees most sites with just a few days of going online. But the thing is - have plenty of backlinks.

Thats got a free tool you can use to optimise and get indexed. It submits to many search engines.
Not a bad tool to be honest i think.
I have used it before on some of my websites and it worked just fine.

You don't need to submit to any search engines -- it's there job to find your site automatically, and they eventually do. As for directory submission, I don't trust anything automated and do it all myself. Directory submission is actually very easy compared to other link-building tactics, so I enjoy it the most.

I prefer manual submissions also, to stay on the good side of the search engines and to avoid the risk of being associated with the steady stream of spam submitted through automated programs.

Yeah but the prices are not good Id prefer Google Adwords.
