Spam Messages
For all those who use , yahoo, gmail , hotmail , etc...
How much spam mails are you getting per day , and how do you think those senders found your address if you didnt shared it publicly.
One more thing , how much exploitable are they?

Yeah i noticed too , and many of those messages , are like "stefanov good offer" , Dont work ever again Stefanov" , "Its HIT stefanov" ...
I guess they have to do something with email itself , since its refering to mail as a name.Although i dont get idea from where they get my mail.
Since i care not to share it publicly.

I have my 3 e-mail accounts which aren't even functioning properly anymore because of amount of spam messages I get. Those are mostly from poker sites and who knows what websites/forums I accidentally subscribed to -.-
Besides...people find my e-mail on some bigger sites and spam and try to scam occasionally, too.

RE: Spam Messages
I get perhaps 100 a day. They just harvest them. From anywhere they can. Lets say you are silly enough to have a mailto: tag then you gunna get spammed. But to answer the other question. Gmail is hackable. I have never done it but know of others that have.

One thing i will say for gmail is its spam filter works pretty well. I simply redirect all my emails through multiple providers. And let the various spam filters take care of it.
So in my actual in box i may get 1 per week. Less normally.
Its all in how you set your mail up.

RE: Spam Messages
I really dont see the problem with spam. Well let me clarify. If it was hitting your in box then it would be a problem. But spam filters now days filter most crap out easily. I rarely ever see spam. More often i have to pull good emails out of my spam folders actually. That is the problem for me. @kerryjim wow you have 70% of your emails spam. Thats nasty.

People need to stop putting email addresses in there websites and forums as a mailto tag. It needs to be hidden better.
Scrapers love to grab new emails.

RE: Spam Messages
Over the past few weeks, I do not not know "exactly" what is going on, but my spam level has picked up. And most of them are using hotmail and gmail accounts.
