all i can say that there a lot of programmers who do nulling vbulletin just to make it free.. thats why its overated or more popular forum software.. i like mybb instead.. user friendly and easy to hook plugins..

vBulletin's front end is something I wouldn't mind getting my hands on however I really hate the Admin side of it compared to mybb at least... :-/

so you mean that their AdminCP not quite Admin Friendly? lol or i mean easy to use then..

vBulletin is a commercial Internet forum software both subsidiaries of Internet Brands. It is written in PHP and uses a MySQL database server. But I don't have an idea if vBulletin are overrated?

It is overrated because I can't see much difference between a script as expensive as VBulletin and MyBB. Anyway you can get it for free from torrents! jk

Imho, I think vBulletin is very good forum software, but I'd much rather use MyBB than pay $160 because I'm on a tight budget.

Yeah, I prefer to get a great hosting with $160 rather than paying for a bulletin script while there are tons of free scripts out there.

To be honest. If I had the money for a vBulletin forum. I'd switch anyday. however, for free forums. I think MyBBB is the best out there.

It looks professional because it isn't free, but it only LOOKS professional. It doesn't mean that it is.
