You can be hacked without knowing it aswell, and be sold on a I-net blackmarket.

I have never had any of my forums hacked by a hacker.
I always ensure that my version is up-to-date with the latest release and check for unusual things such as extra groups, options, etc. Defenses are the most important when managing your own forum. If you have no idea nor knowledge of managing a forum, you can run into many issues and even leave your forum vulnerable to attacks. |

Well, one fo my friend went to set up a forum, and he didn't read the manual..... when someone signed up, they had full admin rights!

He never moved on, shut the forum down. He said it too hard, he won't read a manual. Where I read everything. Also I cracked one of his password, it was abc123. He got no brains.
