But it also depends on the type of site you're running. For example, if it is a wordy site, you'll probably be okay with using Text Ads because it won't force the users to look at the ad more than the content. |

It ultimately depends on which service you're using and what type of ads are being displayed on your site, which are consistant with what type of site you have. Some banners/image advertisements are very attractive and can really convince a guest to click on it. |

RE: Text Ads vs Image/Media Ads
There you have a point. But I referred from the webmasters vieuw. Sometimes you have ads on your site that the whole content is
no longer visible. Ok, it depends on what of ads you have but when I see that it really irritates me .

However, I think you were trying to say that, in general, advertisements on sites are quite annoying. |

As Labrocca stated earlier, ads help support the costs and such for some of the more popular sites that aren't able to sustain a stable source of income. There are, however, some very annoying advertisements that are forced upon a user prior to seeing the content of the site. That is something I would classify as annoying and unacceptable. I suppose you really do have to look at the situation from both the webmaster's point of view and the guest's as well. |

RE: Text Ads vs Image/Media Ads
What you say is exactly true... Text ads don't do much good...
People tend to ignore them the min they see the "Ads By Google" thing... But when flash and other image media ads are shown., they seem toclick on this... I asked a few of my friends on thias and they also said the same... Easy Tips To Make Money Online Tech Trucks and Tips |

RE: Text Ads vs Image/Media Ads
I have never actually seen any Adsense text ads on any sites, my eyes just skim right past them, but I always seem to see image ads on blogs I visit

RE: Text Ads vs Image/Media Ads
I prefer to have media ads. people notice them more, but your image should also be good and less in size so that it don't take much time to load
