Novaboard has alot of potential, i installed it and it's really easy to use, but i can't wait for them to add the templates and theme editor, in a future release, and have more mods and themes made, and it will be a good forum software.

Who knows this might be a promising forum software , although it got tight competition with vb,mybb,ipb,smf that allready got most of forum masters.
Who knows , who cares
But seeing it , it does represent a little on ipb as you said , althought i doubt its based on ipb.
