Fireworks
Does anyone here use Adobe Fireworks? Unlike Photoshop, Fireworks was custom tailored for web design. It can do almost everything Photoshop does, minus a bit of the bitmap editing. Also, it has useful tools that any web designer needs such as simple slicing and object selection.

I've never used it, but i heard it was good, i do want to try it someday and see if it's good like people say, and the useful tools would be easy to use, to.

RE: Fireworks
I can't live without fireworks. I been using it since it was Macromedia version 2.0. Sucks that Adobe bought it. The Dreamweaver/Fireworks Suite was great but now I just need Fireworks. Photoshit is not intuitive imho.

RE: Fireworks
Is learning your way around fireworks hard? when i first used photoshop, i didn't know what to do, but web design sounds a lil more difficult.

RE: Fireworks
I have Fireworks on my Desktop and on my school tablet. I use Fireworks when I'm working with clients on their websites and such. It's something that can be simply overlooked. It's very effective for designing on web pages. Very nice program in my opinion.

RE: Fireworks
If you don't mind me asking, is it the same price has photoshop, or more, i didn't feel like looking it up.

Individually, Fireworks is $299. This is for CS4. Photoshop, the standard version, is $699. Again, this is for CS4. There are more effective programs you can use for Image Editing though.
