Mine was Creative Hoster, a Post2Host service. I'm currently hosted at BBHoster, another Post2Host service and I plan to upgrade to a paid server.

110mb Hosting - without a doubt one of the top free hosts that I've used. Hardly any downtime, friendly support, etc.

My very first host when I started taking Web Site building as a hobby was Free Webs which is now as Webs.com. They were pretty good back then until they started promoting their paid services and what not.
