Top 5 traffic methods

I have not been on the internet marketing scene for long but I have found these 5 tactics which do wonders for traffic. You are welcome to submit yours.
1. Have unique content: It's alright to use plr content but to get noticed by search engines you need to write your own content, or pay someone else to do it for you. You can also rewrite your plr content to make it unique.
2. Make posts in relevant blogs and forums. The key here is to use your signature to draw targeted traffic to your site. Apart from traffic, a forum signature can give backlinks to your site which can help with search engine rankings
3. Use social bookmark sites like Stumble Upon. Start by collecting friends, stumble their sites and they will stumble yours. You can also vote for your site!
4. Do article marketing. Make an article and submit it to top article directories like ezinearticles.com. Make sure that you add maximum number of links(3) back to your site, and have an interesting title and resource box. Learn how to do this at bummarketingmethod.com.
5. Use email marketing. This is a great method to get repeat visitors.

Extremely useful tips. The first one is very important in particular, search engines love unique content. Social Bookmarking also works very well

Just a question - what is plr content?

PLR stands for private labels right. PLR content is 'ready made' which you can modify and post on your site.

Unless I misunderstood it, its just advertising your site or your new content... When you email that particular person constantly, then it would eventually become spam... We all hate spam, but some enjoy watching others suffer from it... Btw, if im wrong about the email marketing, let me know...

I agree about the blog and to leave your link when commenting, this is what I frequently do and this also help to improve back-links and not just people clicking on the link themselves.
