Which one do you prefer, a website design which is user friendly or a website design that is good for search engines? |

I think you need to make a compromise between the two. It needs to be fairly user friendly, but if it has poor visibility you might have few users for it to be friendly to. You should code it in whatever you feel comfortable using but making sure you at least try and make it both user friendly and visible.

I prefer use-friendly websites as visitors can bring traffic and an become your potential customers. Moreover, I think it's possible to combine google's requirements and usrs' needs.
