Photoshop alternative
I used to use adobe photoshop for all my graphics work, but then the 30 day trial ran out :unreal:

Is there any free alternative to it? I've seen the GIMP but i don't like its interface that much and its a bit complicated.

RE: Photoshop alternative
Have you seen gimpshop? It is a version of gimp that looks more similar to adobe photoshop and is easier to use for someone who is used to photoshop. Thats your best hope if you don't like the gimp.

Theres also something called paint.net, but that doesn't have as many features as the gimp.

RE: Photoshop alternative
I am a user of GIMP. Never really wanted to purchase Photoshop because I can't see the advantage, everything I want to use is included with GIMP. It's not the program, it's the person.

Try Paint.NET it does't have all the features of GIMP and Photoshop but there are some good plugins that you can get over at their forums...

getpaint.net

Hey! I use Pdn too, It's awesome in my opinion, with great plug-ins.

Even thought I used Paint for most of my stuff >_> , Pdn is still better. ^^

Try it and what not. Tongue

RE: Photoshop alternative
I've been using GIMP for a long time now. I agree, it looks a lot different to Photoshop when you first start but you can pick up the skills in no time - just takes practice. You can find tutorials on YouTube too.

I've only used the trial version of Corel Draw, it was way too resource intensive, on my computer anyway.
