Do you prefer a fixed layout for your site, or a fluid one?
I think it depends on the type of site. For example, i would never make use a fluid design with a blog, but with a forum a fluid design works quite well
I like a fixed layout, because its easier to work with images, backgrounds etc
A site can look very bad with a fluid layout if someone has a small screen resolution, but it looks the same if the layout is fixed (the only down side is they might have to scroll across to view all the content)
Fluid layouts are good because you know they will always be a certain width (e.g. 100% of the screen). But fixed layouts are better in my opinion because you can be more 'precise'
Fixed. I really prefer this style, not really sure why either - it's probably just the fact I can see what is going on and if everything is close together content looks full too.
