Anyone heard of Discuz!? It is a forum software that is Chinese. It is different from any other forum software I've ever seen.
Here is the demo. If you register and try to post a thread notice all the different options available. IMO that is pretty neat.

Things that really matter when it comes to something like this. Man if Vbulletin was a bit cheaper i would imagine everyone would use it.
