I’m (sort of) working on a Fashion TV-ish website. Fashion TV looks like the following by the way:

Where can I get a bunch of Flash / JavaScript (free) animation scripts like the ones used on Fashion TV? Also … ‘what’ do I need to make a site like this? If I need to make a ‘glamorous’ site …, what is it that I need to do …?

Wow that's a tall order. I would recommend starting with aligning yourself with an experienced designer and taking the design and cutting it into pieces. As for script resources if you can identify the specific functions you are looking for that would be helpful.

You'd need flash to try and do what they have. As for resources, the best site i know of is hotscripts.com

You can get a thirty day free trial of flash (you may be hard pushed to do it in that much time though)

i was wondering why would anybody study fashion TV... but now after reading your comment i would say, you are venturing into something very difficult. all the best with it. if you succeed i am sure we will have another name in the new millionaire's list!
