My website, I need help on promoting it:

I added it to google, hasnt showed up yet
Youtube
Yahoo
Yahoo Answers
And I made a banner:

What else can I do? After all this only like 5 members!

Google takes some time...there is something called the "sandbox" where some new sites are just placed until Google feels comfortable placing them in the directory. I myself have never experienced the sandbox but it's normally targetted for sites with highly competitive keywords.

lol...I see problem #1. Your site splash page uses a javascript redirect to push to your regular site. Google and most bots ignore javascript. For them....you have an empty site and it's not going to get indexed.

Splash pages are a bad idea....they are now outdated.

I agree, to be honest I would give up on a 10 second wait before I've had a chance to look at the actual site. I'd recommend against them. In the past when I was beginning I used them, no more!
