This forum needs really more members. The most people come for the free MyBBCentral subscribe action but the problem is that there is no-one that replies on a topic cause every guy here has more then 100 posts. I admit, I also come here for the MyBBCentral action but I need bump all the topics to get 100 (usefull) posts.

Maybe we need a bigger forum with a software zone like:

Software
Forum Software
Subforums -> MyBB, SMF, IPB, vBulletin, phpBB
CMS Software
Subforums -> Joomla, Drupal, CMSMS

Its only an idea but maybe it helps.

Well i never come here for subscription. I already am subscribed at central actually.

Oh! That's right... more categories... that may actually increase activity around here with more of a variety to talk about.

Personally I have no idea why isn't this site more popular...even googling for Web mastering or anything including hosting tuts leads to this site.
I suppose there's not much that can be done but to be active every day.

Yep and get rid of some of the (bordering on spammers) which i encountered when i started here. There is loads of posts that are simply shit.
Its a webmasters forum and most of the early members were kids from mybb. Sorry but its the truth. Bad call on Labroccas behalf i feel but it was worth a try. I think the forum almost needs to be restarted. Or at least heavily cleaned up. It should be very professional and based on webmaster topics. Sure i know some here are right on the money. And some topics are great. Really great. But lets face it there are many who have no clue. Yet they are here posting there hundred posts.
A new reset forum with mods in place and rules would be good. Keep it professional and the members will come. Keep database of members etc. And offer reinstatement. Some will be pissed. the 100 posts thing. But i say scrap that and rely on quality content or delete post and warn. None of this oh great post crap. Thats just spam in my opinion.
This is of course only my opinion and i am by no means a webmaster. rather an owner or several domains and forums and a few years playing.
Damn at one point i got ribbed hard for giving a warez link here. Now i see its an open topic. So like i said. It needs rules and structure. We have the staff here now so we could simply start again.

Also...those "cool posts, thanks" posts are classic and are a part of every bigger forum. Trust me, I'm active on many forums and every one of them has such posts.

Rules...yeah rules are always good to have.
