Marketing Offline
Has anyone tried marketing offline? For example, has anyone tried word of mouth/posters? I'm going to be starting a few sites, so i'm looking for the best ways to promote it.

RE: Marketing Offline
Word of mouth (for example, telling your friends) is good for forums, because you can trust them to be good users who are fairly active on your forum. I've never tired anything else though. Give it a go, it can't really hurt your website Smile

RE: Marketing Offline
word of mouth is the best. Just tell your friends, spread the word around school/college/university.

I've never thought of posters, but if you put them in a place that will catch alot of peoples attention, then you could get a good flow of traffic.

RE: Marketing Offline
Just 'mentioning' your site to your friends is a great idea, especially if you have alot of them. But rmemeber, don't tell them its yours because they may click on your ads on purpose to get you banned if you annoy them

RE: Marketing Offline
It depends. If you are trying to sell some type of product, offline marketing is probably the best way to go. You need to find your target audience and advertise there.

RE: Marketing Offline
In offline marketing, either customer comes to the retailer or retailer (for marketing) to customers to know details about the products. In online customers can know the details about product without using of anyone with help of internet.
