So you have a photograph or image, and you are designing around it. You have to add text or some other graphic. How do you choose a color that will look good with your image. One answer is to sample the image for different colors in it (in Photoshop, the eyedropper function). Often, one of the exact colors that you sample out of the image will make a great color for text that you add to the image.
