Block FireBug?
Is there a code that can block FireBug (a Firefox app) from being used on my webpage...I heard Firebug could be used to expose site loopholesConfused

Can't you just unistall firebug? i use to have it and nothing has happend to me, that i know of, or if you can't do anything just get rid of firefox, if that's the case.

No thats not what I meant lol XD...

I want to redirect users who have it installed to another page. Because I heard on this one forum that it exposed loopholes on their site and they now block it.

Did I make sense lol?...

Ya, but i don't know any codes to block it, maybe you can try googling it, and see if they show you any results.

You can only see what for browser you visitor is using. A other option is to secure your website, cause if you have your website good secured FireBug won't work Big Grin.

No you can not stop firebug. Just the same as you can not stop anyone from viewing your html source or javascript or css.... Anything displayed on the web can be viewed. Don't confuse this with php, no one can see your php code but your html etc.. is fair game for all.

Solution - make sure you don't have any loopholes on your site.

What specifically are you worried about?
