Well, if you're a new webmaster check out http://freehostia.com

They are good for new webmasters and simple websites.

Might want to share it. Tongue

btw.. freehostia sucks a little. Only 6GB of monthly traffic and 250MB of diskspace. Try byethost: http://byethost.com/index.php/free-hosting or BBHoster: http://www.bbhoster.net. There are many other cool free hosts though.

RE: Are you a starter and need a host?
Wow, they've definitely changed the layout of their Home Page. Last time I checked, it was a boring site with Orange-based styles (I might be wrong. I've been on too many Free Host Providers Home Pages), but now, WOW. I clicked on the link thinking I was going to be seeing a familiar old site that I've visited in the past, but they're new design has really impressed me.

Has anyone really tried out their services? Has anyone spent a fair amount of time to tell us how they (Freehostia) treat their customers?

I never liked Freehostia. Its slow and is is almost down in my time. I think cause it is one of the most popular free hosts when you search for "free hosts" on Google this result is on the first page.
