Ajax help
i need a link to a script the visits website A and takes the text and places it, with a completely different file, or its places the text in the file.
i need this becuase one of my site is being attack bandwidth wise, (luckly its not used that often) but i still need the text to be on page b. can someone help me? |

Could you elaborate a bit? You mean you want your main files to load text from other files? You can use jQuery to do that super easily. http://docs.jquery.com/Ajax/jQuery.get#u...llbacktype

i want to grab text some website A (example) google.ca/oringalpage.htm to website B (example) yahoo.ca/newinfopage
bascly i want to grab a file for my schools bus cancelations on our site, and on the bus's site, automatically. and it must be ajax so it doesn't refresh everytime bus gets canceled. they are on different servers many thanks Tm0 |

Try an iframe. If you want specific part of the page only then you might have to use curl. Does Site A have an rss feed to grab the info from?

no no feed it just has, text and a header.....
and i need it to acess teh page wihtout the user going to teh website. because that site has low bandwidth |
