Ad Placement
Ad placement is very important. It is recommended that you have ads above the fold, and in places such as the top left and middle of the page, where more people will see the ads.
What positions work best for you? |

RE: Ad Placement
At the top of the content on a page is one of the best places to have ads, because its where someones eyes will look first as they reach your web page.

RE: Ad Placement
Yeah you can view Google's webmaster blog for better details but they basically say top fold and left sidebar.

RE: Ad Placement
It varies from site to site. For a blog, its in the posts (for me anyway), for a proxy its just above the bar where you enter the url and so on

RE: Ad Placement
I think placing ads just after a long piece of text works very well, because it makes the reader think the links are part of the content. Just a hint, don't use image ads, they rarely get clicked on

RE: Ad Placement
Simply Top
as I had post it before that ads on the top will let your visitors know and clicks on them more effectively, and more easily |

RE: Ad Placement
AD placement are key to make money, but they have to be placed such a way that it doesnt irritate the members either, so the best position would be to place it inside the middle of the article.

RE: Ad Placement
Sometimes though you want to irritate the members. It might actually increases your CTR. Remember that ads are designed to get attention and you only get paid for a click. You have to be willing to possibly lose those viewers forever to gain that click.
