A byte of Python
Do you want to learn Python fast and simple? The book A byte of Python is a very good solution! It isn't a book of 400+ pages with strange words. Almost everyone can understand it! And its whole free!

Enjoy!

RE: A byte of Python
Thanks for sharing this with us. I've heard that Python is a pretty dead programming language that not a lot of people actually take interest in anymore. However, just because it's a dead language, it doesn't mean it isn't as effective as the other programming languages. I actually know of some strangers who've used Python to code a small little program to cheat in a popular online gaming community. However, they've decided to make it private and require you to pay for it before you can use it now because when it was public, a lot of people really just abused it and didn't care about the type of consequences. However, due to the rise of cheating, the staff, on the site, has done their best to better secure their site and their games. Now they've gone through a lot of changes in the past year simply because of the rise in cheating members.

Any who, Python is a really good language and would be a good thing to learn for something in the future. Or maybe, it would be a great addition to your collection of knowledge in the programming arts and would probably help you when you were creating other programs and such.

Again, thanks for sharing =)

RE: A byte of Python
Python isn't dead. I admit it hasn't such a big community like PHP but the people that use it are really like it. It has a nice syntax etc. Also the webframework Django is very good its like a Python version of Ruby on Rails.

No problem Wink.
